Pros:
Before it was that they had delivery and I cant drive cause Im visually Impaired.
Cons:
I would not recommend this pharmacy for your needs. My experience with Aloe Drug Mart has been consistently challenging, particularly regarding timely access to essential medications. As an autistic and legally blind individual, I rely on a specific medication each month to manage my health. Unfortunately, there have been repeated issues with both the availability and delivery of my prescription, causing unnecessary stress and fatigue when my medication is delayed. This causes me to not be able to go to my Special Olympics training or go out because I am so tired. My family and I have made numerous calls in an effort to resolve these problems, often to no avail. Today, we made the decision to leave this pharmacy for good, and I feel relieved. I strongly advise others to seek a more reliable and responsive pharmacy for their medication needs.

Pros:
The old Owners and a Teq. that no longer works there named Jasmin.
Cons:
Negative: Our family had been loyal customers of this pharmacy for many years. Unfortunately, after the change in ownership, the level of service declined significantly. We made numerous attempts to continue working with them and give them opportunities to resolve ongoing issues, but the problems persisted month after month.
Medication deliveries were consistently late, frequently delayed, or accompanied by various explanations as to why they could not be delivered on time. Reliable access to prescribed medication is essential for health and safety, and unfortunately this pharmacy repeatedly failed to meet that basic expectation. Additionally, the majority of the staff were often unpleasant or dismissive when concerns were raised. The only staff member who consistently demonstrated professionalism and kindness was Jasmin, who unfortunately no longer works there.
The most concerning situation involved a medication that I take daily. On one occasion, the pharmacy failed to deliver it on time and later stated they did not have it in stock. After I continued asking for clarification, they eventually admitted they had 87 pills available and sent those on February 3rd, followed by the remaining three pills on February 11th after receiving additional stock.
When the following month arrived, I contacted the pharmacy again to check on the status of my medication. I was told that I could not receive the medication until February 11th, as that was the “last dispense date.” I attempted multiple times to explain that the prescription should have been refilled based on the February 3rd dispense date, but the staff member answering the phone would not listen or review the records. I requested several times to speak with the manager, David, and was told messages would be left for him, but I never received a return call.
As a result of this ongoing confusion and the pharmacy’s unwillingness to review their own records, I was left without my medication for an entire week. When I finally called again on March 11th and asked whether the medication would be delivered, the response was simply that it would be sent that day, without any acknowledgement that I had been without a necessary daily medication.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. Delays and delivery failures occurred almost every month. In January, we were contacted by a completely different pharmacy stating they would be delivering our medications and already had our personal information and credit card details on file for the deductible. When I contacted David about this, he stated they were a “partnering company.” However, we had never provided consent for our information to be shared, nor had we authorized another pharmacy to access our credit card information.
Shortly afterward, we discovered several small unauthorized charges appearing on our credit card statements. While the amounts were small and difficult to immediately detect, it raised serious concerns about how our information had been handled.
After trying for months to work through these issues, we have ultimately decided to move all of our prescriptions elsewhere. Unfortunately, this decision affects not only our family but also several clients with disabilities whom we assist, who were experiencing the same recurring problems with this pharmacy.
Access to medication must be reliable and handled with professionalism. Sadly, that has not been our experience since the change in ownership. For these reasons, we can no longer trust this pharmacy with our health needs.
