I love how wonderful & caring the staff is at CSC. They work so hard and are always so busy there but they always seem to have time to help with any issue that you have and they are always so polite when doing so. When I think about the staff at CSC I always imagine the old adage of how you see a duck serenely float on a pond but if you looked below the surface of the water you would see their legs quickly flapping their fins to keep them floating on the surface. That’s how this staff is. They work incredibly hard but you would never know it bc they all are so calm and serene on the surface. Unlike other corporate pharmacies that I won’t mention but starts with a “W” this pharmacy has plenty of pharmacists always on staff along with several techs. Also, you can’t beat the prices at CSC. Even if you don’t have insurance or not the best insurance they help you by using a sliding scale to lower the prices of your medication. If you can’t afford your medication they will look up coupons, assistance from pharmaceutical websites, or help you sign up with the sliding scale. They will find a way! This isn’t just me speaking from my own experience either. I have showed up there early or waited after my doctors appointments and have sat in there lobby (never for very long though) and have watched them help all different kinds of customers and they always seem to find a solution. I will never use that other big “W” pharmacy again unless there is some emergency reason. I’ll stick with CSC where they are always adequately staffed and the staff genuinely cares about their clients and you aren’t just another number but a person and their prices are low bc it’s about the patients health and not the almighty dollar.

The only thing I can really complain about is that they are closed on Saturdays & Sundays but everyone needs to have days off. Insurance & all the legalities make it hard when your refill days fall on a Saturday or Sunday and you can’t pick up a certain medication before Friday evening then sometimes you are just screwed and have to go without your medication all weekend or bare minimum 1 day. They do try their best to get your medication filled a day early if at all possible but sadly bc of the law & insurance requirements sometimes it just doesn’t work out in your favor. I wish they could run a skeleton crew on Saturday’s from like 9am-11am for people to only pick up medication thru the drive thru window but it would have to be called in earlier during the week for Saturday pickups only. Just a suggestion or loophole to work around. As I said before though everyone deserves to have time off. I love CSC Community Pharmacy in Hartsville!
